Course Organisation

87 hours of French courses spread out from the 19th of June to the 18th of July 2023.

• 45 hours of French classes

• 42 hours of intercultural workshops

Available Level of French

Based on the CEF (Common European Framework), from A1 to B2 (beginner to advanced levels).

Placement tests will take place on the 20th of June.

Students will be divided into small groups according to their level of French.

On request, students from partner universities can get credits (ECTS or US) out of the summer school.

The programme:

• In the morning: 3 hours of French classes

• In the afternoon: intercultural workshops

• Individual, independent work

• On weekends: cultural activities to discover French culture: Mont Saint Michel, Saint Malo, Loire Valley château, Paris...

Evaluation :

Final exam (writing, speaking, written and oral comprehension)

Coming to Le Mans

Le Mans / Paris Gare Montparnasse Station
= 12 round-trip journeys per day, one way taking 55 minutes

Le Mans / Paris Airport Roissy Charles de Gaulle
= 5 round-trip journeys per day, one way taking 1h30
